FLINTA Fridays

If you're looking to meet other queer people who are interested in board games, then you've come to the right place!

Our aim is to bring members of the FLINTA (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, Agender) board gaming community together to meet, socialise and enjoy the hobby in a safe and respectful environment.

So far, the events have seen mostly lighter games with a casual approach allowing for discussions. With the whole library available to play though, anything is possible at our next event!

Our events are open to everyone of all identities, but we ask everyone understand they are entering a FLINTA safe space and should behave respectfully.

What's the vibe?
Think cozy game café meets chosen family causal (non-alcoholic) drinks.

Whether you're a seasoned strategist or just curious about what all the dice-rolling fuss is about, you've found your tribe. Folks new to board games very welcome; our community loves sharing their favourites and teaching newbies.

When:
Third Friday of every month from 19:00.

 Where:
ReRoll Works Store, Van Woustraat 202A, 1073 NA, Amsterdam

Who:

The event is open to everyone. We are focused on creating a safe space for the FLINTA community and ask all attendees to respect that. If in doubt about anything, just ask the host.

If you are entering the event as an ally, please be particularly mindful of how much space you’re taking up. Take more of a backseat role (let members of the FLINTA community choose the games, for example), and try to be conscious of avoiding microaggressions (avoid interrupting, speaking over, or ignoring ideas from FLINTA members). We all have implicit gender biases – compounded by intersecting oppressive hierarchies (e.g., race, class, language, education): awareness is the first step to unlearning.

Bring:
Just your fabulous self!

Come play, stay connected, and let's build something beautiful together – one game at a time! ✨

The House Rules:
✅ Bring your own games or explore our collection (including our own boundary-pushing titles)
✅ Outside food welcome – bring snacks for those intense gaming sessions
❌ No external drinks – we've got refreshments sorted
❌ No alcohol – keeping our space accessible and comfortable for everyone
